i was afraid to come take a look at the responses to my post and was relieved to see your reply. many argue what the "love" in "boylove" really means. i agree with you that this love is defined and shown through purity of motivation, unselfishness. It's not as much what we do as why we do it. If our motives are pure, then our actions will follow suit, and we can hold our heads high with godly pride. it's the difference between the pharisee who likes to "show" how much he loves God and the "sinner" who truly does love God. thanks for the reply! your friend, splash p.s. re: your last comment... i consider all my posts public domain -- anyone can use them; though, my words may need cleaning up. |
