A more decent soul would be hard to find.

I hope he gets through it OK, and is able to receive good legal aid. Those lawyers who don't want to take him on cause it might "ruin their reputation" are complete dickheads, not fit to serve in criminal law. They seem to have completely missed the point or forgotten exactly what Law is all about.
