As a Christian site, first and foremost, that is committed to support each other as we struggle with this issue, to my mind it is not inappropriate for you to visit us from home. And OpenHands.net offers a forum where your wife might find appropriate encouragement as well. And on that basis you might even be able to use web based email at home to get to know some of better and talk about things even more 'for real'. Certainly I don't think there is anything objectionable on the site from a Christian perspective, though some of the links might lead to more dubious places. But you'd be better off being able to talk about things with us than bottling it up or only sharing it with people who don't really understand what the struggle is about. I was equally ecstatic when I found this place, and over the past two years that I've been around, it, and the friends I have made as a result have made life much better, and my Christian discipleship better as well. So - I look forward to seeing a LOT more of you! |
