Forgiven, you speak well here. And I've been thinking about this thread of posts during the last few days. There's a lot I could say, but I think James says it best: "My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons" (James 2:1). James goes on to say we should share the gospel message equally to all types of people, showing no one person more favor than another -- for if we do show respect of persons, then we sin, and our sin is no better than the sin of an adulterer or a murderer. "But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:9-10). Also, let me pose this question: When does a person come to salvation: 1) The moment he comes to Jesus in tears, declares Him as Lord, and asks forgiveness for his sins or 2) Several years later when that same person finally drops one of their sinful habits? Justification first, and then sanctification. Not the other way around, right? How can we expect someone to become holy BEFORE they come to Christ? None of us would be saved. So... no matter who or WHAT they are, let's show them Jesus. Only by the grace of God have we already come to know Him. Who are we to decide who has the ability to come to Christ and who doesn't? "Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?" (James 2:4). Something to think about. Selah.
