| I agree with a lot of what you say, though my perspective is Christianity. I think that what underlies all of this is something very deep and surpasses wanking or spying on people in bathroom stalls. As the Bible says, almost nothing is wrong in and of itself. Wanking itself is a natural human, or even animal, behavior. However, if you are lusting for somebody while doing it it is of course a sin. However, lusting is a sin no matter what else you are doing. The question is "What is lust?" That's something that has been discussed for years, but I found one good answer from a minister. You have to ask yourself if you would really have sex with this person if they were available for that and nobody would find out. That is a hard question to answer, but you may find that when you look inside yourself that you really wouldn't hurt these boys that you fall in love with every day. If you would, then the answer is to live by God in prayer. It seems that the problem is that through all this help that you have been seeking, nothing could satisfy your view of yourself as a holy man. The fact is that you are human! This guilt and heartache is proof of that. You are not a monster. God loves you and I love you. You have to accept what you can't change and find peace in what is left. The attraction is not the sin! As with wanking, it is when you give up and fall into it that you are truly sinning. I think us BL's often fall because we choose to fight the wrong battles. We hate ourselves in a way that we seek with all our hearts, and even our lives, to change. We must find the distinction between sin and temptation. We must see that our lives are worthwhile and we were molded as individuals. All woes are gifts if viewed correctly. We can be strong and we can be happy. Love yourself and hate your sin. Pray for God to help you understand the difference and see yourself as he sees you. A child of God. |
