That story reminds me of what happened to me a few years ago. I was traveling and stopped at a highway rest area to answer the call of nature. A boy of about 5 or 6 was in the men's room with his father. While relieving himself, he noticed he had an erection and wanted to show everyone in the room, lol. He seemed quite proud of it. I just smiled at him. I looked at his father who just rolled his eyes and shook his head. I'm glad the father didn't make a big deal out of it. That would have given the boy the impression his erection was somehow dirty or wrong.

It's amazing to me what is being labeled as sexual abuse these days. I've read real life stories on the internet written by abusers and the abused that have gone thru therapy. In some cases, their counselor has gotten them to believe that the most innnocent of chilhood experiences was abuse. Sometimes, actions such as wrestling with anyone not of your immediate age, or making any comment at all about someone's genetalia, is labeled abuse. People have written that they didn't feel they were harmed by this or that event, and never saw it as abuse, but with the "help" of their counselor, they now see how terrible it was. GEEZ. I guess in these monern times, one should not look at, mention, make reference to, or in any way even notice anything about a child that can in any way be considered part of their genetalia. How sad that we have come to this point.
