A WONDERFUL reunion

Just had to tell you all about this unexpected surprise that made my day. I was just at a 4 Him concert the other day. They were awesome. As I went to the washroom, I walk out and I see a boy I knew from camp! I was like HEY! And he gave me this huge smile. We did a little small talk and I asked him if he was there with anyone else. He said, "Just Mark." My face lit up!!! For those of you who don't remember, Mark is the boy I refer to in Parakelis last year (I Hope I spelled it right). I haven't seen Mark for almost a year! He's grown so much. He's 14; his voice has totally changed; he has braces; and he looks so handsome and mature. I miss that boy so much. When he saw my face and recognized me, his face lighted up as bright as mine. We talked and he told me he made the high school basketball team. He's an amazing kid. And I know he's giving God the glory and I know he's going to witness to his friends on the team! I can't wait to hear about it. Please pray for my friend Mark. He means so much to me. I think I've said this before, but if I could pick my pastor in 10 years, I pray Mark would be available. Joyfully yours, Huck Finn |
