Hello James, thanks for writing. How has your relationship with the boys you've known developed as they've grown older. As the older ones would be coming into their teens or maybe older, have you still been able to enjoy their company? What I mean is that it's going to be a problem if you can only see the young boys as objects of desire, without thought to the person inside the boy or the man that the boy will become. That is, I suppose it can help you deal with the sexual feelings if you can think about the boy as a thinking and living human being with whom you have to relate, rather than as a boy. That can help you direct your attraction so you do something useful for the boy, like help him grow into an adult, rather than seeing him as some piece of enfleshed beauty you want to touch and own.
