L.I.E. the movie

I just discovered the trailer for this movie called L.I.E. (Long Island Expressway) the other day on Apple's movie trailers website, and then found the movie's official website with more information. The film deals with a 15 year-old boy's struggles with life, including being drawn to a pederast. It seems to have had some quite well balanced reviews since it was released in America a month or so ago, as well as generating some controversy over its NC-17 classification. It's not available on VHS or DVD yet. No doubt we'll have to wait a while to see it in the UK, if it gets past our censors, that is... The reviews give me the impression that it would be an excellent watch. I don't know how it ends, though... so please if you have seen it, don't give away too much for those of us who haven't! Or if you do, do what the sports newsreaders do and say "If you don't want to know what happened, look away now..." :-) With Christian love, Jules |
