Welcome Gabe and glad you found this place. I have talked with your cousin over on Open Hands. It is very clear that she loves you very deeply. I think that this place will be of great comfort to you. First it reminds you that you are not the only one in the world like this. It also tells you that being attracted to minors does not mean that you are like some time bomb waiting to go off and offend. We are responsible for our actions, not our attractions. It is very possible to lead a good, productive and fullfilling life as one who is attracted to minors. Remember that god created you. Why did he create you this way? Perhaps, just perhaps, he had a reason for doing so. Your fears of what might happen to you are justified, and it is hard keeping this part of you a secret. I am glad you have found a place where you can speak openly and without fear. I would caution you to be a little more careful on the security side. Don't mention exactly where you come from (N. Ireland is ok, but don't mention the name of the village again...Bach perhaps you could edit that out for him?). If you need to talk in RL, you are lucky that you have an understanding and supportive cousin. |
