which I guess is why no-one else has had a go at addressing it! As someone who would describe himself as 100% gay, in the sense of being aware of no attraction to the opposite sex whatsoever, I'm sceptical that the BL thing has ANYTHING to do with hetrosexuality! However I do identify with the suggestion that there is an element of wanting to stay with the positive experiences of the past. However one of the strategies that I have followed with some success, aided by circumstances, has been to work at raising my 'Age of Attraction' by seeking to build relationship with older boys, rather than younger; as a result I would say that my AoA is now over 16, which has the benefit of making me thoeretically legal in my jurisdiction, though I'm not working on finding a 16 yo YF... Does that make any sense to anyone else? |
