You may be right, although I think a lot of it has to do with where we spend our time, the things we dwell on. If we spend a lot of time surfing the net, looking at naked boys, it just increases our appetite. I can believe my new nature is stronger all I want, but that won't decrease my appetite for looking at boys. I can't tell you how long I've TRIED that! Doesn't work. On the other hand, if I steer clear of those images, and spend time meditating on God's word, I'll have a greater chance of having a victory. I don't think anybody will disagree with that. True, we are saints of God that sometimes sin, but I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking of ourselves as "sinners saved by grace" because the bible says, "For by GRACE you have been saved..."(Eph 2:8-9).
