I agree to a certain extent. I think there are a lot of BLers out there that do a lot of good, and humans CAN control their desires, unlike animals. However, history has proven that some humans have desires so strong, their desires overpower their rational thoughts. If ALL humans could control their desires, there would be a lot less people in prison today. I think (maybe) what Sandman was saying is that if a BLer has a strong sexual desire for a boy, and continues to pursue that relationship to be close to him, and eventually have sex with him, THEN purity and innocence are destroyed. Most people aren't going to check themselves into a rehab center for having these thoughts and inclinations. If sexual desires are consuming your mind to the point you want to have sex with a boy, then biblically, you should not allow yourself in a situation that would compromise your christian beliefs.
