I was rather vexed by your post Sandman. I know you wrote it with good intentions but you came off as rather sanctimonious. To this day I have not nor would I ever attempt anything inappropriate with a child. I was sexually abused in my youth and am aware of the trama that is inflicted. All men grapple with their darker impulses and through the grace of God, most men are able to over come the malignity that lies in the human heart. Inspite of all the misfortune that has transpired in the world as of late, I still believe people are basically good. You should not have such doubt in yourself. You are not a "little fox" that spoils the innocent. You are a man made by God and created in His own image. He gave you the power and the will to be a righteous person. Being a childlover does not mean you are incapable of it. God made you as you are and loves you as you are. As for your suggestion of evangelizing my cousin, I have infact dragged her to mass with me on more than one occasion. She'll sit there twitching in the pew, make some comment to me about the impracticality of 19th century cathedral architecture and then bolt out the door as soon as the service has ended. Faith is a choice. God gave us the right to choose what we believe in and what we don't. I have been evangelizing my cousin since she was 8 and I was 11. It's an on going process.
