Ender! So good to see you! I'm so glad you decided to ask for advice here. THe people here are almost always very caring and sensitive... blunt sometimes, but try not to skirt around the problem. Heather and Splash! gave great responses. And I think they are things I just couldn't put in words in our private discussions. Can I write down a response about personal guilt? Something I have struggled with. And of course our lives are SO similiar. And you do remember me refering to when I pecked J on the cheeks and forhead and kind of surprised him. Yet I didn't upset him. However, I had so much guilt about it for about a week. I was worried what his bro thought because he saw this. Yet I feel as if it brought us two together. It allowed us to trust each other more. I wasn't taking advantage of J. The same way you're not taking advantage of A. You love him dearly. Just as much as I love J. And to lose them would hurt so deeply. We can't beat ourselves up with guilt. Guilt is NOT from the Lord. Some people on CBLF may fight me on this one, but hear me out. Conviction comes from the Lord. When God's Spirit convicts us of something, he makes us not only feel (because feelings are fleating) but know that we are wrong or right in some cases. And sometimes when you are bogged down with guilt, the only way to KNOW you're "feeling" God's conviction is to pray. Pray that God clears your mind from the guilt that is not of HIM and that he convicts you. Whether you are right or wrong. The Lord is not a policeman. He's our Father. He wants us to be happy and joyful (that joy you and I have talked about a lot lately). I do not think you and A have done anything wrong with each other. You're a great mentor for him. And I don't think he has anyone who loves him as much as you do except his parents. You're a great rolemodel. And I Know he's caused you to question your faith. I pray for you often my friend.
