Hi Gabe, I'm not sure if you are a BL or not. If you are, then your struggles with relationships with women make perfect sense. I am trying desperately to maintain a relationship with my girlfriend. But whenever I meet a cute boy, I compare this feeling to the feeling that I have for my girlfriend and I "KNOW" that there is a natural desire that I will never have for her. The power of my attraction to boys is overwhelmingly stronger. The one thing that I can tell you is this: Keeping sex out of the relationship definately helps to see if the relationship is also a friendship. If it is not, then it is probably not worth pursuing. Jesus speaking against divorce implies that he expects marriage to last for life. If this is the case, then the importance of sex to the marriage relationship is bound to deteriorate over time. What you are left with is two old people spending their lives together. You'd better love someone on the inside if you are going to marry them. You are not alone. Love, Ben
