Now I understand a little more where you're coming from. We have very different beliefs about who our God truly is. My God is Jesus who was manifest in the flesh, walked this earth, died as the Lamb of God as a sacrifice for all mankind's sins, rose from the dead on the 3rd day, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, ready to return as the Lion of Judah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Your God is Lucifer (who you believe to be separate from the devil), also known as the sun god, Baal. I'm not sure what Christian denomination you're a part of. I know the Mormon church and JW's have similar beliefs (about Lucifer anyway) and that there are many high-level Masons who also have a similar belief. You say it's biblical. I say it's not. The King James Bible calls Lucifer "son of the morning" (Isaiah 14:12) and calls Jesus the "morning star" (Revelation 22:16). Two separate titles; two separate beings. The new versions have perverted the title of Jesus Christ by calling Lucifer the "morning star" instead (Isaiah 14:12, NIV). Lucifer is not to be equated with Jesus. Lucifer is condemned to Hell (Isaiah 14:15, and all of chapter 14). The Textus Receptus [KJV] and Antioch manuscripts do not equate Jesus with Lucifer -- this is something found in the New Versions [NIV] based on the corrupt Alexandrian manuscripts of Egypt. Through the witness of the Holy Spirit, I (by the grace of God) hold firm to the belief that God is sovereign enough to have given us His True Word through the Textus Receptus (in the most common language, for all to read) for which many martyrs died. My God and Savior is Jesus, not Lucifer (the archangel who used to be above God's throne but was later thrown to the earth because of his rebellion and is now known as Satan, the devil). Two very different beings, so don't call me brother. I worship Jesus, the Creator (John chapter 1), and not His fallen creation, Satan. And my God is a God of free will. I do have a choice to sin and a choice to be holy. Lust is not something I am, it is something I do. I can stop and make the Lord Jesus my Master instead. Can you say out loud with no difficulty, "Jesus Christ of Nazareth is my Master?" I can. There is power in that name (Jesus) and one of God's angels turns Lucifer to shame.
