Hi Baal, I have tears in my eyes because I know what you are saying and what you are going through, altough I do not know anything about your exact circumstances in life. But if you are a Boylover who has had to go through life's "wash-cycle" a few hundred times and found yourself in the "ringer", so to speak...and I think you know what I mean, than I know exactly how you feel because I've been there too. In fact, I have had a LOT of problems in seeking and finding some kind of fulfilment in love in my life. I have had a wonderful friendship with a boy and although I do not see him any more, I will always cherish the memories of that relationship. I can love adults too, but not in the same way...it's a great kind of love but it just dosen't seem to have the same depth as that which I have shared with a boy. That is why, to answer your question, I have ultimately found the best love in my life, the kind that can come from every "corner" of my life, in a growing and vital relationship with God. Believe me, this is not just a theoretical idea with me, because if it were I would have left it alone a long time ago. It is very real and it is very accessable to literally anyone who wants it. You need only ask and you really will recieve. A relationship with God manifests itself through all the other people in your life. Once you start a relationship with Him, He will make Himself very present through people and circumstances. I have told much of my own story in our Newsletter, "Paraklesis" and I believe you can look up the latest issue from this Forum. I would go into it now but my time is limmited, unfortunately. But mine is not the only example of how God can work in a person's life to bring about greatness. There are a lot of folks here with simmilar stories. Our Father is the Father of anyone who wants Him. There is no discrimination in Him. This is a Biblical truth that some churches do not teach, but it IS true nonetheless. Yes, I believe that Boylovers HAVE been given a very special spiritual gift from God, one that can bring about terrific healing in a boy's life who really needs it. And one that could, ultimately, bring about much-needed healing in the Family of God in the way of unity. The sexual side of our attraction is really only one part of it, Baal. I believe that the spiritual "side" is trully Boylove, as a whole, in it's most beautiful and meaningful form. I must go for now, but please keep in touch.
