Dear John Doe, I do not have much time to write my own story but if you are interested in reading about what has happened to me, just look up the latest addition of Paraklesis. I believe you can find it from this forum. Needles to say, I too have been branded by the law and society. I am a celibate boylover and have been this way since I was a young teen-ager, but I have been labeled as a "sexual preditor" because my brother turned some books over to the police. Believe me, I know how you feel. But I want you to know that our God is a loving and carring Father, and He will always remain faithful to you. I have actually been amazed at how the people who I have had to "come out" to have accepted me. It hasn't been easy, but as long as they see that I am sincere in my faith (and I am...), they really do not give me much grief. Although I did go through a terrible period of time with a Sex Offender class, of which I am so happy now that I am NOT a part of. God never puts us through any trials just to watch us suffer. He always has a good plan for us and I have come to believe that it is through these hard times, we will all find great progress and growth in our faith. I think you too will find your way through all the "thorns" in the garden you are walking in. Just keep holding on to your Father's hand, He will guide you through. Love in Christ Jesus, Chris |
