On hate

Just thought I'd offer some scriptures on love & hate. John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another Luke 6:27 But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you These were some hard lessons for me to accept, until I realized that my feelings of hate came from satan, not men. Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Hate is satans way of getting us to turn away from others and ultimately from God. It is not an emotion that we need to succumb to, even when people hurt us. You are not alone. Love, Ben
