Dear Professor, Although I have experienced my share of problems related to BL and society, the legal system especially, I can tell you at least a few things I have found that can be of some help. At least they have really helped me in my current situation. First and foremost is my commitment to celibacy. I have had to be very adiment about this with everyone who knows about my orientaion in the physical world I live in. I have found that not only do I get at least some respect for my commitment to this kind of lifestyle, I really do enjoy it, probably for the same reason the Apostle Paul did. Another way I have found that works (for me...) is that, although I am not allowed by law, to have any kind of relationship with a child, I can, and do, enjoy them by just being around them when I can. Whether I am at church or in a store, I can still admire them and love my Lord for creating such beauty. Indeed, it is in the eyes of a child that I can so clearly see God reflected. I hope that helps a little. I do not think your life situation is the same as mine, but perhaps you will get at least an idea or two. With Christ's Love, Chris |
