The kind of love you are talking about sounds good and fun. I'm not sure that would be an obsession. I've been both in love with a boy and obsessed with a boy. It's really very different. Being obsessed is not fun at all. Frankly, it hurts. It's hard to explain, but being very much in love with a boy can be a positive experience. Being "OBSESSED" is never positive. It just causes pain.
