Dear Splash!

Thanks for your follow up to the first two allegories I presented. If you don’t mind me asking, which George Orwell short-story did you write your A+ paper on? I would very much like to check it out and compare notes with you on it. For example, I love the allegory you came up with in respect to Quidditch and the Christian walk. Indeed, it is awesome how the Holy Spirit gives us each certain insights, which we can then share with others.

A Harry Potter criticism – what an excellent idea! A book that could be written specifically for kids as a type of devotional almost, while steering them away from some of the more darker aspects of the HP series. I wonder what the copyright issues are in such a composition? While I was in prison, one of my therapists who recognized both my writing ability and deep love for boys suggested I direct that in the writing of children’s books. I hadn’t thought about her comments again, until now…

I think perhaps I will place this project at the top of my list. I have numerous other literary projects in the works – a compilation of my poetry, a BL novella, an autobiography, an examination of homosexuality in the Bible, a book on reconciling all of the parallel passages found in 1 and 2 Chronicles – as well as my music, where I am currently working on the material for my second album. So much I’d like to do, so little time! Thanks for the idea and I look forward to sharing more allegories and corresponding with you.

Take care and God bless,
J

At the beginning of the end-of-year feast, Gryffindor was in last place for points, Slytherin was in first place. But after Dumbledore awarded last minute points to Ron, Hermione, Harry, and Neville, the Gryffindor house went to first place. While Slytherin was not relegated to last place, the last place finisher (Gryffindor) went to first place:

But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
