My Dear Friend and Brother in Christ, I hope you will read this post. I have come to understand that you have left CBLF, perhaps for good, but I am hoping you are still coming in here and reading. I do not know the exact reason you have decided to leave us...or even if you really, trully have, for that matter. You may be just no posting anything for a while for all I know. But I have heard that you have become incresingly upset with some differances of oppinion over faith and denominational issues. Ford, I cannot tell you how much it would really upset me if you felt you had to leave over something like that. In fact, I will be quite upset if you leave for good under ANY reason. You know, I see this forum as a gift form God and also as a very honorable opportunity for us to be able to do something that few of God's Children can do right now. It is a big reason why I love this place and believe in it so much. The opportunity that I mean is that we all come here from differant denominational backgrounds, and yet we must transcend these differances in order to address an even greater issue in our lives....the fact that we are something that the rest of the collective family of God finds disgusting and believes they must hate and dispise. Like I said, I don't know the facts of why you are now gone, except that it had something to do with your being Catholic. And, brother, if this is true and if some of our brothers here have given you cause to be upset because of your being Catholic, then it is not only wrong, but VERY WRONG, and I trully hope you will come back and allow us to make things right again in Christ's love. Please, please don't leave Ford. If you do you will leave behind a space that ONLY you can fill. And it will be noticed by many of us here as a terrible reminder of an unresolved wrong. Please know that, speaking for myself, I KNOW how great and real your faith is because I have met you in person and you left me with that impression very strongly. You are my friend, my brother in Christ, and I love you! Please come back, Ford, at least to allow us to try to make things right again. We can ill-afford to call the rest of God's family wrong because they do not accept us in our being Boylovers, if we cannot accept another Boylover because of his faith, choice in a Church, or Denominational Beliefs. We must open our arms to all who are in Christ or we are as guilty of hypocracy as the ones who hate us for being BL's! Love In Christ Jesus, Chris |
