I'm angry too

I'm angry, and I'm honest, sometimes hate too. I'm angry at a church that preaches love, then expresses disgust and hatred for gays. I'm angry at a pro-gay church that preaches compassion and inclusiveness for "all" people, then expresses the same disgust and hatred for BLers. I'm angry at a society that denies us our humanity, and a mental health profession which essentially leaves us to the vultures. But then I see small pockets of people here and there who are able to be compassionate and accepting--many of them Christians. Besides myself, I know of three BLers who have come out to one or more people in their church and who have found compassion and acceptance. Feel free to vent here; I think we Christians can handle it. If you feel safe doing so, maybe you can let us know a little bit more of what was done to you.
