From what I understand, the larger triangle represents the adult with the smaller triangle representing the boy with the cross in the center of the symbol representing Christianity, as this is the Christian Boylove forum. hence, it is this site's variation of the BL symbol. Our problems and approach to solutions are supposed to be based on the Christian ideals. As a side note, I've ordered a pendant from a jeweler friend of mine with the basic BL symbol (adding the cross in the center would have made things too complicated) but not with the explanation of BL. I'm not sure he'd understand. Rather, I told him that the larger triangle represents the Holy Trinity connected to Man as God's icon. What this interpretation will do to the theological aspect of BL, I have no idea. Maybe it means that God can appreciate our BL because He is a HL! |
