as here you are normal; and thank you for your honesty about your past experiences. You're struggling with the same issues that we all are - and some of us have found some solutions that offer us a way of making life worth living. My own solution focuses on a number of safe relationships with a number of older teenagers whom I've got very close to over the years they've been in my life. The approach is to look to find good relationships, rather than run away and pretend that you don't need them. Quite how you get to that point from where you're at I have no idea - but my own experience was that God bought it about by a series of happy 'coincidences'. As to the issue of your girl friend, this is an area that is completely outside my experience, but you might want to wander over to Open Hands which has had a number of people going through this sort of issue from both sides. But I'm pleased you've found this site, and I hope we will see more of you in the future. |
