Hi Etenne, Sorry to have missed your post at the moment when it was probably most needed. Did you mean to express your anger at me or were you looking for my insight? Either way, I want you to know that I am here for you. We only get angry at things that are worth getting angry about in our hearts, things that are too important to pass off. It's hard for me to know the true details of what happened to you. What I can offer is something that I have offered to many Jewish people who I have shared my faith with who have rejected Christianity because of the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. What I have told them is that what was done in the name of Christianity perhaps was done in deceit. I have challenged Jews to find one ounce of possibility that Jesus would have supported the killing of millions of innocent people. Indeed, this is why reading the bible is so important, so that we understand clearly that the message is one of forgiveness and reconciliation, calling us to a life of love, not hatred. So, my friend, what was done to you was not in the name of Christianity, and I would be happy to scripturally challenge any so called 'pastor' who claims that it might have been. Remember, the words of Ephesians 6:12 - "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
