Hi tigris, I like Dakota's reply to you alot. We cannot determine God's timing in people's lives and it is not our job to strong arm or convince people to become Christians. Christianity is a RESPONSE and we can only expose people to the truth, not make them believe it. What I can offer is this. That Jesus' greatest command was to love one another. I can tell you from personal experience, that just loving him, caring for him, telling him that you love him no matter what he decides will go the farthest. Some day, he will hit bottom in his life and will have to face the decisions that he has made. He will go to those who were steadfast in their faith and who love him, and that may be you. It may be next year, it may be in 20 years. It may be that he will forget you, but he will remember that he was helped by a Christian and he will seek someone who is closer to him at that time. Have faith that God will work through you if you follow Jesus with your life. You are not alone. Love, Ben |
