Dear tigris, This is yet another time when I wish I had brought my Bible along with me. However, I will try to give you some help. First I want you to try to understand a truth about a Christian's relationship with the Father that has actually taken me a long time to figure out, so please try to bear with me, ok? The first part of this truth is that, as a child of God, we really do not have anything to fear. Fear is not supposed to be a part of our make-up and it can actually hurt our relationship with our Father. However, that is quite difficult to see because we all DO have fears in our lives. I know that I do. Brother, God can take away our fears if we allow Him to do so. When I was in jail you had better believe I was fearful...every single day! When I was exposed as a boylover because of the actions of my own brother I was petrified. I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen to me form one day to the next, both while in jail and when I was released. To tell you the truth, I still don't. You are doing the right thing by coming in here and reaching out for help, Tigris. Because the way God helps us to overcome things like fear is through his children. While I was in jail I probably recieved more mail than anyone else in there. That mail did not come from members of my family, it came from my family here...right here at CBLF! It put tears in my eyes, fire in my soul, but best of all, hope in my heart. It did what God would have it do...it took away my fear. And my continueing relationships with people here accomplishes the very same thing for me to this day. And it can do the same for you. Let God do in your life that which you cannot do. Just keep turning your problems over to Him because as a wise and loving Father, He is quite cappable and very willing to take them and turn them into assets. He can do this in spite of our inability to se how it can be done. I know this is true because He has done things in my life I would have normally believe as impossable. He does this out of great love and also because it honor's His name and honor's us in the process. God does not want you to be lonely either. He is always with you and not only that, you have a family that He has given you. We are your family, Tigris. And not exclusively by our own choice, either. We are family because this is what God wants us to be! We are all very blessed to have one another in a world that will not have us. We are all very blessed to have God as our Father because He will never leave us nor forsake us. No matter what! You, my brother, are indeed blessed. I will also be praying for you. And I believe God will show you that regardless of anything that happens in your life with this boy you trully have nothing to fear and that you are trully never alone! Please try to just hang on durring this time in your life that you find so trying and know that our Father is one who is literally always using everything in our lives to teach us about the one thing we have so much trouble believing on our own....that He loves us so much more than we will ever be able to comprehend in this life-time!
