Dear brother, Welcome to our fellowship. Here you are not alone. You are so much like many of us. I have recently been through theological training with the possibility of entering pastoral ministry, but have decided for the moment not go for it. I am involved in my church where I am, and preach at least once a month. I do not feel that being bl hinders that, but working with teen boys would be different... You are looking for a safe place. I can't offer a place to live, but I would be very happy to exchange email. I've just got myself a lokmail email account, and if you get a secure email account as well, we could talk more. If you trust me after a while, we could talk on the phone or onw day, if you happen to be in the UK, we could also meet up. If you don't feel ready to correspond, I understand, but I want you to know that the offer is there. If you can't make contact for now, here are some thoughts for you. You are a child of God, even if your relationship with him is very weak. If there is any problem in your relationship with God, it is not because of what God thinks about you being bl, but because of how you feel about being bl. God already accepts you. You can't change that. But you can learn to change your own attitude. Think of the people you have influenced for the good during your 20 years of ministry. Your teaching, your pastoral care, your example. The problems that your closeness to boys has caused are only one part of your life. There is much more to it as well.
