Dear Forgiven, You’re welcome and thanks for the feedback, skin analogy, scriptural reference and the Aslan/Eustace connection. While I was out Christmas shopping I came across the Narnia Chronicles unabridged in one volume that I was hoping someone would get me as a gift. Nobody did, so I guess I’ll have to go out and get it myself! I read ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ when I was a kid in school and my dad got me the set (seven books I believe) for my birthday one year. He also explained the symbolism in the book to me, in particular whom Aslan represented – it’s a shame I didn’t care about God at that age. I never got around to reading them and somewhere along the way they got sold off in a garage sale. Thanks for reminding me about the Narnia Chronicles – I must pick that unabridged volume up this coming weekend! Take care and God bless. Love in the Lord, J |
