Tigris, I know exactly what you are saying! Many is the time I have asked myself the same question. I find that loving "sacrificially" is not a sacrifice at all! My approach is to ask the Lord to bless what I do, and I find I do have to take a step back and to ask myself and God is what I'm doing for the child, for the Lord or for me only. Then sometimes I see that I need to change my approach or to back off. I hope this is of some help in your reflections, and I would also like to hear what others have to say. Hang in there! Sardis |
