Celtic Drummer,
I am no Joseph but I believe that, unless you are a prophet, that dreams reveal our true heart, tested by the Holy Spirit that lives in us more than they reveal some independent message from God. Interestingly the word prophet does not appear ONCE in the New Testament. God primarily used prophets to speak to the Jews before Jesus spoke on the behalf of all. Futhermore, God spoke to men in order that they might fulfill his purpose on earth. He spoke to Noah instructing him to build an ark, to Abraham in order that he might set out for the promised land, to Moses in order that he might free the Israelites, etc. Since it would never be God's will that you break your convictions and go out and do something hurtful to boys, why would God issue such a prophecy?

Your dream more likely reveal your own conflict between loving boys, wanting to help and protect them and your feelings that you are something dirty, shameful and dangerous to boys. The fear of getting caught is something that I have dreamed repeatedly in my life (even though I have never done anything with a boy that someone would need to catch me at). I have woken up terribly shaken and upset, having to reassure myself that it hadn't happened. It is a wake up call to me sometimes that I need to stay strong in my convictions, and continue to live a life of celibacy (from boys).

1 Corinthians 3:16

Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?

1 Corint
