May I make a suggestion? First off, I think you're correct in your interpretation of the dream. It's your interpretation of the dream and that's more important than what Freud or Jung or anyone else would say. But, in your dream, you have only two alternatives: death or imprisonment. I would ask you to speculate while you're awake and considering the dream: What would happen if you were relive the dream while you're awake and take the rifle from the assasin and throw it into a field where it would do no harm? Working through dreams in this way, trying varieties of ending when I'm awake not only helps me understand them better, but has given me insights into how to act on their information |
