but I'm amazed at your courage - there's no way I'd have ever done anything as radical as that. I just hope and pray that in time it works out - though by the sounds of it it's going to be tough for quite a while.

I wish I could recommend you go and talk to your pastor for yourself rather than let your parents impose a certain interpretation of Christianity on you; these days that is not necessarily a possibility - there are disclosure laws in some jurisdictions that might be interpreted as requiring him to report to the authorities. And if that's the way he wanted to play it, it's easy enough for him to go that route, though it would be an abuse of confidentiality to my mind. The one church you can trust on this is the Roman Catholic - their confessional is absolute - as long as you are make it clear that that is the basis of how you want to do it.

If you need us to, I'm sure that we could find you some solid biblical arguments to reject their interpretation of the requirements of God - but the basic line argument is the fundamental difference between being tempted and actually sinning. To be tempted is not to sin - as indicated by the fact that Jesus was tempted, and did not sin. We are called to live without sin - not to live without being tempted.....

Keep in touch and let us know how things develop; I'm really pleased you've found us at this hard time, and I hope that we can be of some encouragement. I've found ways of living a relatively satisfactory life despite being a BL - and of serving God in it; I believe it is possible to do so by going God's way. I hope and pray that you may indeed find it to be true for you as well.
