Your concerns are no more questionable than a hererosexual saying he needs a woman or a homosexual saying he needs a man. In any case, any orientation, God's grace is the answer. He will provide moments of fullfillment when we need them. I am not that much older than you, but I have been able to live all my years without having intercourse of any kind. God has given me the strength and patience to say no when tempted or to know that I can have just as fulfilling relationship without the need for teptations of the flesh. Yes, this is easier said than done. I'd take Dave's advice and find some distractions. Also, don't be afraid to be around kids. I am day and and day out. I find time for my peers, but much of my life does include being around boys. It has not been a problem for me to abstain, and I use who to build that relationship in a positive way.
