For the warm reply.

I don't have all the answers and I don't pretend to. So I completely identify with your questioning, because I do a lot of that myself. What I find comfort in is that you find your relationship to be blessed. I find it hard to believe that any same-gender relationship would be blocked God's blessing automatically.

"I think the Church does a great disservice to humanity by focusing in on the sexual sins when there are so many other signficant short comings of human beings. Certainly Jesus did not belabour the sexual code of ethics of his day, but rather proclaimed freedom to the captives, etc., etc."

Therein lies a problem. I'll admit that I've made many excuses with the only basis being simple "dislikes" of the Church. But I do have sincere grievances. One being what you mention. If you don't mind me asking, do you attend church? While I find that I want to go, I don't want to at the same time.

I haven't gone in a few years, but I'm leaning towards the former nonetheless. The main reason being that I attended a service with my YF a few months ago and was blown away by how much I truly loved and missed praising God openly. In fact, I got to particpate in a childrens program at the service, and I can't tell you how amazing it was to praise God with and share the "Good News" with a boy that I deeply loved. :)

There are so many complications in my life, ugh, honestly I've tried to push off some religious questions, how dangerous that is, I don't know. Don't know at what interval, how much, how continous, if at all my particpating here would be, but I think it would be beneficial to talk some issues out.

Again thanks,

-Flyboy
