Dear tigris, Forgive my ignorance as I'm unable to follow all of the threads sometimes. I don't know how old Kenny is, but he sure sounds a lot like me when I was thirteen. I was getting into trouble at school and with the law. My dad and my sister were Christians, would share the gospel with me whenever they could, and prayed for me. I knew deep down I needed to get right with God but just didn't want to - at least not until I was older. I was just a kid, I wanted to enjoy myself, do whatever the hell I wanted. It wasn't until I was fourteen and suicidal that I finally allowed Jesus into my heart. It happened very unexpectedly, the Spirit came quietly into my bedroom one night as I was on the floor crying and changed my life forever. I will pray for Kenny, that the Spirit will soften his heart and that he will see how much he needs God and much God wants to fill that void with His undying love.
