Hey FOD - Thanks for sharing this. It seems like a fascinating and seriously down to earth organization. I am especially touched by their talk about all people needing intimacy and a loving relationship. I think that we can all relate to this. I am conflicted though on them basically acknowledging that since they have not been able to find a way around their homosexual tendencies, that they are changing the standard by encouraging same-sex intimacy (unless I am reading it wrong and they are talking about it in a non-sexual way perhaps). The bible is crystal clear about men and women being inflamed with lust for each other (Romans 1). I am not willing to accept that God intends us to end our Christian walk by giving in to our desires. Don't get me wrong, we all may die trying and never hit the standard. But our perseverence is what causes us to walk as Christians every day, bringing us closer to God and more acutely aware of our need for God. How many years did Joseph or Job wait for God to deliver them? They didn't expect miracles over night, but instead they walked on this earth with God seeming against them for decades, until finally they were rewarded with blessings. You are not alone.
