tigris, Kenny is at a great age for you to start talking with him about sinful nature. I've found with teens that when they understand that they, like all of us, have a sinful nature that will try to drag them into sin, they no longer view us (adults who are trying to help) as the adversaries. In my youth ministry work, we try to work WITH the kids, helping them understand how Satan will try to undermine their Christian walk...helping them to know that we are on their side to help them. I have often shared with teenagers my own struggles (though certainly leaving out the BL part) so that they don't see me as some perfect person who they could never be like. I'll pray for Kenny and for you to have God's wisdom as you help him. Keep up the great work, brother and don't lose hope! You are not alone.
