I agree. I think one of the saddest things is when some married guy declares that he's gay, and divorces his wife. I'm not sure if Roy Clements, to whom I refered in my reply to Dakota, is one of them. But nevertheless he does seem to have sensible things to say. Anyway, it's easy for me to get on my moral high-horse on this point, I'm not married! On the other hand (as we've discussed previously ;) ), I'm happy to question whether the conservative church does in fact correctly understand the biblical standards. Which is a different thing to abandoning them. You can't be abandoning biblical standards by supporting gay relationships, if in fact the Biblical Standard was not opposing them in the first place.
