and then complain when we try to explain it to you.... people who walk in front of cars on freeways really have no right to complain when they get knocked down!!!!!!! The only question is whether it is TRUE. Is it the case that because of the death of Jesus on the cross I get everlasting life in a state of unending joy and bliss? If it is - and I've based my lifestyle on believing that it is true rather than choosing a gay or BL relationship - then it is rather important. And if I'm right then not telling other people about it is morally reprehensible. You don't have to listen - but I certainly won't let you prevent me talking about it - as a view that has as much right to be heard as yours. Let's be honest - I would like to believe that the universe is otherwise - that it is possible to live however we like. However I've seen and experienced too much that leads me to the opposite conclusion. Does that make any more sense?! (If you've read 'Ender's Shadow', I hope you would agree that Achilles' belief that the universe is always bending to what he wants is a sign of his psychosis, and not a reflection of the true nature of the universe) |
