Hey gang. As the subject says, I really want to share this with you all. I saw Kenny last night. As you might know, he was suspended from school. I got to talk to him about his attitude, which is partially why he was suspended. This time, however, he asked me to help him change his attitude. He said that he really can't change, and doesn't know what to do. I told him I would help him and would pray for him. He said he would pray for himself too. He also said that a couple of days ago he prayed again to become a Christian. He had been saying for a while that he didn't even want to be a Christian. You know what the cool thing is too? Remember I said that last Wednesday I took him to church and he decided to actually go? It was the first time that I didn't pressure him to stay with me instead of church. Well, it was at church last Wednesday that he did this. How cool is that? What if I pressured him to stay at my house again? Would this have happened? I acted in obedience and I believe that God worked through it. God is obviously working in Kenny's life. It's so cool the change that is taking place in his life. I am so excited and blown away at what God can do when you actually let him do it! I gave up trying to do it myself a couple of weeks ago, and God has done some pretty cool things in his life and my life too. Thanks for praying, those of you who did. Kenny still has a long way to go, but at least now he wants to change. He didn't before. Now he does! tigris |
