here's hoping that one day I'm in that sort of situation - though thinking about it I got a job over 100 were going for - that was with my present employer 11 years ago, and I've been reasonably happily settled there ever since. And I've got YFs I'm quite close to - though they don't show quite so much enthusiasm. But yes - God has blessed me in lots of ways compared with where a lot of us are at. Let's pray that we stay open to God so that he doesn't have to take these things away from us to get our attention in the future. (PS - by the way you don't live in Pleasantville do you? You can tell because the fire brigade only ever goes out to get cats out of trees.....) |
