I realize that you don't believe in the Bible. That is your choice. However, you still must realize that people who do will speak according to their beliefs. They have no reason to apologize. If you were a Budhist and called me lost, I would understand that you were speaking in terms of Budhism and not be offended. To a Christian, saying somebody is a sinner simply means that they are not perfect. By saying that you are not, you are claiming perfection. If you are complaining about the usage of the term "sinner," then that is indeed a matter of semantics. How about this... According to your language, you are not a sinner, because sin doesn't exist to you. However, in the Christian meaning you are, unless you have never made a single mistake. Do you like that?

As far as using profanity, I think it is nice to respect other people's beliefs. If it offended you when I said "googly," I wouldn't say it unless there was some important reason to use that word. Is there an important reason to use profanity?
