If I do 120 on a freeway, I am criminal in the eyes of the state where I did it - whether I believe in the existance of that state or not. If the Christian God exists then I am a sinner in his perspective. The only question is whether it is true that he does exist; if it is true, then it is an objective fact that I am a sinner. When the traffic cop pulls you over, it isn't go to do you any good to deny that he exists. On the day of judgement it isn't go to do you any good to deny that God exists. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict people of sin. It can be argued that your desperate denials are strong evidence that he is at work in your life! Which is some sort of reason for continuing to put up with you here..... |
