Hi Bach, I had no intention of debating with him. I was hoping that my post would help him to see a side of Christianity that perhaps he has never seen before. The only post that he wrote that I had time to read sounded pretty dismal. Hasn't anyone even tried to tell him how much God really loves him and cares about him? Well, I tried. I don't know, sometimes I really get discouraged because I can only be on-line for one half an hour a day. It gets to be really difficult to follow things in here. I have no taste for the kind of debate that that person would have liked. I will not debate subjects like "can a boylover be a Christian?". I will always be very happy to explain my stand on that topic to an interested, non-hostile person who is really looking for answers. But I refuse to "sling Bible verses for brownie points" any more. However, well...never mind, Bach, I trust your judgement. Love in Christ Jesus, Chris ....it really is too bad, though. I will keep him in my prayers! |
