J -
Thanks for posting what I was somewhat hesitant to do (not because I wavered in agreeing with you but because I was chickening out). I also believe that we have a responsiblity to help people see clearly. Jesus was hardly a lukewarm kind of guy. In fact he spent most of the gospels telling parables, in order to teach people what it meant to follow him. As I alluded to in my post, it is completely up to God who is and is not a Christian. But because God is the judge, does not mean that I should cower from helping people know God because I am afraid that they will be offended.

As Paul said in Romans 14:10 "You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat."

There is a distinction that we as Christians must make between judging people and speaking the truth in love. I realize that many people, no matter how you say things, will accuse you of judging them. All I can do is keeping saying, "I am not God" and "I am not perfect". Maybe that is why Jesus told people to be humble. For he who is humble will be exalted (Luke 14:11).

You are not alone.

Love,
Ben
