mighty that you think you are a saint? Are you a sinner? My stating "no saints and sinners" followed no holier then thou attitude and was meant to complement that. Christian should not take an attitude of superiority! We are to be humble! You stated: Jesus didn't die in agony on the cross to give us a free ride to heaven, Yes He did! He paid the pirce for our sins! The rest of your sentence: in the sense of allowing us to live as we want to regardless of God's call on our lives. Of course not. God knows our hearts. God does not expect us to not sin... just to try our best to not sin... to follow his will. I'm disappointed that you chose to divert from the over all point of my post and focus on one part of it... ignoring the importance of the rest.
